Dear Ones,

God has been talking to me about a particular verse, and I want to share it with you.  It is 1 Cor. 15:45, and it says, “So it is written: ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.”  Wow!  Think about that, and think about all it means that we inherit once we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior.  Think about all it means we have to offer the world around us.

Adam was a living being, a symbol of our carnal or earthy being, but the last Adam – Christ – is a life-giving Spirit, not just a living spirit.  This is important.  He is a life-giving Spirit.  Everywhere He went, He brought newness of life, restoration, redemption, peace, hope, prosperity.  He is the representation of God, and when we receive Christ, we become heirs to all He has and all He is.  The Scripture says we are joint heirs with Jesus(Rom. 8:17).  That means that insofar as we walk in the Spirit, Christ’s likeness dwelling in us, we become to the world around us the arm of Christ.  In His name, we bring life to those around us.  We become His extension on the earth!  That’s exciting!  We have hope to offer those who see no hope, peace to offer those in turmoil, healing for the infirm, joy for the sad, wisdom for the confused, encouragement for the discouraged.  The life-giving Spirit of Christ works through us to satisfy the needy and thirsty!

Doesn’t that encourage you?  Does it make you realize what a divine purpose you have on this earth, what a power-packed individual you really are?  Doesn’t it just make you want to see how much life and love and healing you can bring to your world?  I hope so.  There is no limit to the good you can do!  The key is just to remain in Christ.  Fill up on the Word; sit in the Lord’s presence; talk to Him, and He will talk back to you.  God is always talking to us.  He will give you an inner witness.  The Scripture says to commit our ways unto Him (Psalm 37:5).  I believe when we do that, His desires become our desires, and He gives us the wherewithal to accomplish what He wants on this earth.  He gives us the direction, the clarity of purpose, the peace, the grace, and an ease to carry forth His mission.  When we commit our ways to Him and wait upon Him, we can rest and know that He is a voice speaking to us telling us which way to go (Isa. 30:21).  Doesn’t that give you security!

Get excited dear ones!  Every time you talk to someone or have the opportunity to help another, think of yourself as a life-giving spirit.  Think:  I will breathe life into this situation, unto this person just like Christ did, because it is Him working in me, the hope of glory.  His glory being imparted to another of His children or into a difficult circumstance, and He always overcomes!  That means I can be a life-giving imparter of His overcoming Spirit in every situation in life!  What a thrill, what a marvelous expectation we have because of Christ!

Let His life-giving Spirit in you impact your world!

Lisa Marie

If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life and desire to, pray this:  Dear God, I believe that Jesus is your Son, that He died on the cross for me and was resurrected for my redemption.  I choose to make Jesus the Lord of my life.  I thank you for forgiving me and for filling me with Your Holy Spirit.  I thank You that I am Your child, that You are my Father, and that You have great things planned for me.  Amen.
