Dear Ones,

A couple of weeks ago, God took me to a Romans 8:19 and 21.  Starting with Romans 8:21, I would like us to read it in several translations.  The NIV says, “that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.” King James says, “Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God,” and the NLT says, “the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.” I knew immediately that He wanted me to share thiswith you.  After prayer and study, I believe that for now there are two important principles that He wants to reveal to us through these verses.

First, we are to be free as God is free.  He created us in freedom, and when we become born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, we receive the freedom He has.  He wants us to be free from the rituals of religion, the traditions of men, every bondage of this earth, and to walk in true relationship with Him, communion.  This chapter of Romans also says that His Spirit communes, testifies, with our Spirit that we are His sons and daughters (verses 16-17).  We are His beloved children born to be in sweet fellowship with Him every moment of every day.  He does not see us as His slaves or servants, but His precious children.

Second, all of creation is waiting for us to take our place to be and do what God created us to be and do.  “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God,” (Romans 8:19; KJV).  Creation is waiting for us to walk in the full manifestation of our sonship with God.  To do that, we need to know what God created us to be, that is His sons and daughters, filled with the Holy Spirit, walking in divine manifestation, doing that which Jesus did when He walked on this earth, setting people free, bringing healing and light and liberty to all of creation, taking our rightful place as joint heirs with Jesus, filled with the power and glory of God!  Let’s stop sleeping brothers and sisters!  Wake up!  Walk into the glory and power God needs us to be to those around us!  Believe for the miraculous, the FULL manifestation of Christ to work through you!  Not only does God wish that none should perish spiritually, but He also wishes that none should perish in any realm of life -- relationally, physically, mentally, financially, the list goes on.  Christ paid for it all, completeness in every area! We are the sons and daughters of the Most High God, and we have what this world needs!  They are waiting for us to take our rightful place and be the demonstration of God’s redemption, NOW, HERE ON EARTH!  Verse 22 says they “groaneth and travaileth in pain together.”  They are waiting for us to walk in the freedom and fullness of the Holy Spirit power!

This Scripture reading is not just for the redemption of our bodies when we get to Heaven, although this Scripture does also talk about that (v.23).  Verse 23 says that even we who are the sons of God, who have the firstfrutis of the Spirit, groaneth within ourselves waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our bodies.  So, indeed, we have that great day to look forward to when we receive our new bodies and are completely freed from the bondages of this fallen earthly state.  Even beyond that, however, I believe this verse points out that we are in need of stepping into the full glorious manifestation of all the Holy Spirit was given to us to do and provide for life here on earth. Note that verse 26 says that the Spirit helps our infirmities and makes intercession for us when we know not how to pray as we ought.  We are not going to have weaknesses or infirmities when we get to Heaven.  This is our commission NOW, to take our rightful place and responsibility and honor the Holy Spirit that has been given us to be the overcoming power that defeats every weakness, demonic scheme or attack, infirmity, sickness, sin, lack – anything that falls short of God’s perfect and complete provision in every area of life!

Let’s do this thing, Saints!  Let’s be all that God, our Father, designed us to be.  Let’s get to know the Holy Spirit, hear God’s call, listen to His voice, spend time in communion with Him and walk into the full manifestation in which all of the lost and hurting on this earth are waiting for us to walk!  We haven’t begun to see all of the glory and power God has provided and placed within us by His Holy Spirit!  The Scripture says we have an anointing of the Spirit within us (1 John 2:20, 27). It is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 8:11)!  Let’s get rid of the rituals and limitations and blow the lid off, so to speak!  We are never waiting on God, but He is waiting on us!  Let’s not try His patience (although it is never ending).  Let’s move out and walk in His divine plan!  Let revival fill the land – through us!

If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life and desire to, pray this:  Dear God, I believe that Jesus is your Son, that He died on the cross for me and was resurrected for my redemption.  I choose to make Jesus the Lord of my life.  I thank you for forgiving me and for filling me with Your Holy Spirit.  I thank You that I am Your child, that You are my Father, and that You have great things planned for me.  Amen.
