Children’s Church begins immediately after worship on Sunday mornings.

“Love the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength. Never forget these commands that I am giving you today. Teach them to your children. Repeat them when you are at home and when you are away, when you are resting and when you are working. Tie them on your arms and wear them on your foreheads as a reminder. Write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates.” ~Deuteronomy 6:5-9

At RCC children’s ministry, we believe in working alongside parents to train children to become disciples of Christ. Our goal is to not only see that children are born again, baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, but also for them to learn how to wholeheartedly worship God, lead others to Christ, heal the sick, hear the voice of the Father, and defend their faith and give an answer for what they believe. Our mission is to help children reach their full potential in the Lord by becoming firm in their faith and their relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire for them to know and understand that they are the living temple of God and to live their lives holy and righteous as we are commanded to do.

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own?” ~1 Corinthians 6:19

I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice- the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. ~Romans 12:1

Our classroom time is based on a tabernacle style of worship. We start our sessions by entering in the outer court with scripture memorization or an intentional game followed by moving into the inner court with an apologetic style of lesson while digging into God’s Word. Lastly, we enter into the Holy of Holies through worship, soaking in God’s presence, listening for His still small voice, and following the Holy Spirit’s leading.

We believe in equipping the younger saints and bringing them into God’s presence. There is no junior-sized Holy Spirit, and He moves in every child of God.
